Together We Make a Difference

We Re-Engage the Young People Others Struggle to Reach

Every young person’s needs are different, and the right support depends on where they are in their journey. Some children require immediate intervention to reduce risk and restore stability, while others benefit from earlier support that prevents concerns from becoming more serious.

Whether a young person needs urgent intervention or planned support, our role is the same: to understand their needs, build trusted relationships and provide structured, outcome-focused support that helps them move forward with confidence.

Specialist intervention for young people where risk, exclusion, disengagement or instability is escalating

Early support for young people showing the first signs of disengagement, emotional or behavioural difficulties.

Young people enjoy the TWMAD mentoring programme

Our TWMAD Behaviour Change & Personal Development Framework makes us different

TWMAD interventions are built around a structured framework of mentor-guided resources designed to help children and young people understand themselves, overcome barriers and create positive futures.

We use trusted positive role models, activity-based engagement, targeted curriculum modules and clear outcomes to help young people re-engage, understand themselves, make safer choices and build positive futures.

Each young person has the most relevant modules from the Behaviour Change Framework embedded within their personalised support plan. These modules are then delivered across all TWMAD provision, including specialist intervention mentoring, positive activities, group workshops and structured programmes.

Mentors use each session and activity to help young people explore their thoughts, choices, behaviours, relationships and goals. This allows them to progress through the framework naturally, through meaningful conversations, positive experiences and consistent support.

The TWMAD Behaviour Change Framework supports young people with needs including ADHD, autism, SEMH, EBSA, trauma, attachment difficulties, FASD and communication needs. Relevant modules are selected to help each young person understand themselves, manage emotions, build confidence, strengthen relationships, reduce risk and make progress in education, home, the community and future adulthood.

What schools have said

“Someone who gets it”

“Having an adult who, in the words of a student who trusts very few people, is ‘someone who gets it’ made a huge difference. All of the students felt this way. A huge thank you.”

“TWMAD played a significant part in helping him reach college”

“A young person we support has secured a place at college starting in September 2026. I truly believe TWMAD has played a significant part in helping him achieve this. A huge thank you to everyone involved for the support and encouragement you have given him.”

Supporting Professional

“An immediate impact”

“The mentor made an immediate impact by forming a trusting bond with the pupil. Having a strong, positive male role model has been extremely important, and the pupil has responded very well.”
