Why we created Urban Park Studio
Urban Park Studio was created from years of working alongside children and young people who often found it difficult to engage with traditional support.
Again and again, one thing stood out.
Music.
For many young people, music became the activity that broke down barriers, built trust and encouraged conversations that may never have happened elsewhere.
Rather than simply building a recording studio, we created a creative intervention space where young people can express themselves, develop practical skills and discover talents they may never have realised they had.
Today, Urban Park Studio brings together mentoring, creativity, music production and professional recording within one inspiring environment.

While we are focusing on providing studio time to the young people we support through our organisation, we’re also planning to provide production slots for all podcasters – so watch this space.
