TWMAD Celebrates Youth Music Fund Award for Future Beat Makers Project
Together We Make A Difference is thrilled to announce that we have been granted funding from the Youth Music Fund to launch our innovative Future Beat Makers project.
This exciting new initiative aims to provide children and young people with access to Urban Park our state-of-the-art digital sound and music studio offering them opportunities to explore and develop their talents in music production and media creation.
The Future Beat Makers project is designed to create memorable experiences for children who face barriers to learning. Whether they are beginners or have prior experience, every child will be supported in discovering the joy of creating music and media.
Our Urban Park Studio is equipped to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment where young people can experiment with sound, learn technical skills, and express themselves creatively.
By participating in 1:1 mentoring sessions and collaborative group workshops, children will not only build their musical and technical abilities but also their confidence, social skills, and sense of achievement.
TWMAD has always been committed to empowering young people and developing their creativity.
This funding allows us to take another significant step forward in our mission to support children who may feel disengaged or excluded from traditional educational settings.
Through the Future Beat Makers project, we will provide a safe space for self-expression, creativity, and inspiration, helping young people to realise their potential and imagine brighter futures.
The Future Beat Makers also creates a fantastic opportunity for our multi-talented mentor Darren, who will be leading the project. Darren has a passion for music and believes in its power to guide children toward better decisions. He will be hands-on, ensuring the project achieves its intended impact and serves our community in the way it deserves.
We thank Youth Music for believing in our vision and supporting us in bringing this transformative program to life. Over the next two years, we aim to engage 200 children aged 6-18, offering them opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive through the power of music.
The team are now developing our plans to roll out this programme for children across Stoke on Trent, For more information about the Future Beat Makers project or to learn how you can support our work, please contact us at darren@twmad.co.uk
